Dan`s Chili
(Recipe came from Website)
(1) 3 to 4 lbs beef 80/20 in a pot start cooking until meat is starting to
brown,
(2) Chop 3/4 onion put in pot,
(3) ¼ green pepper chopped in pot
(4) 2 cans dark chili beans drain off juice put in pot
(5) 2 cans diced tomatoes drained put in pot
(6) Open one large can hunts spaghetti sauce with meat Put in ¼ cup
(7) Open pouch chili powder put in ¼ pack.
(8) Cook until meat is done,
(9) Drain beef & contents through strainer put the beef mixture back into pot,
pour back in 1/3 of the drained sauce.
(10) Now put in the rest of the spaghetti sauce,
(11) And the rest of the pack of chili powder
(12) Put in ½ tsp oregano
(13) Put in 2 TBS sugar
(14) Salt & pepper to taste
Let simmer in crock pot for at least an hour,
the longer it simmers the better it is,
Chili is always better re-heated after setting in fridge over night.
