MOM'S BUTTER­NUT POUND CAKE
 

3 Sticks Margarine (Room temp.)

1/3 cup Crisco

5 eggs

3 cups sugar

1 tsp. Baking powder

1 T. butternut flavoring

3 cups plain flour

1 cup milk
 

Mix together margarine and Crisco. Blend in sugar and eggs, one at a time. In separate bowl, sift flour and baking powder. In a cup, mix milk and butternut flavoring. Alternately add flour and milk to the above ingredients. Blend until mixed well. Bake at 3250 for 1 hour to 1 hr. 15 minutes. Start out in cold oven.
