DATE FINGERS
1 Egg
1 Stick Butter (1/2 Cup)
Dash of Salt
2 Cups Rice Krispies
1 Can Angel Flake Coconut
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 Cup Chopped Dates
1/2 Cup Pecans
Mix egg, butter, sugar, and dates - cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add rice krispies, pecans and salt.
Add vanilla after mixture cools. Shape into "fingers" and roll in coconut.
Store in refrigerator.
(For Christmas, color the coconut in red and/or green)
