DUTCH MEAT LOAF Diane Roark, Bank teller

1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 can Hunt's tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Lightly mix above ingredients. Form into loaf. Place in shallow pan. Pour over meat loaf "sweet and sour sauce" as follows: Bake 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.

"Sweet and Sour Sauce"
1/2 can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar or molasses
2 tablespoons vinegar

Note! I use 1 cup oatmeal, uncooked for bread crumbs, and 1 cup ketchup instead of sauce.
