SWEET AND SOUR PORK CHOPS
1/4 Cup Flour
4 Pork Chops cut 1" Thick
1 4 oz Can Mushrooms
1 Onion Sliced
2 T Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 T Oil
1 Green Pepper cut in strips
Pepper to taste
Mix flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge chops in mixture.
Brown in oil. Drain mushrooms (save liquid). Add water to liquid to make 1 cup.
Add sugar, soy sauce and vinegar,. Mix well. Add onions, pepper and mushrooms to
chops. Pour liquid over chops. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
Recipe can be doubled.
